Obama's Mosque Comments Take Story National

Saul?  Saul is that you?  Yes, it seems as though Saul Alinsky has emerged from the White House once again.  President Obama expressed his opinions on Friday about the mosque that's being built at Ground Zero in New York City.  Why did he do this?  To divide us further.  Don't you see?  He does these things to tear the country apart!  He did it with the AZ immigration law and now he's doing it here!  He's pitting one side against the other and it is so clearly intentional.  Maybe we should just ignore it and not give him the attention or maybe we should wise up and know what it is he's clearly trying to do here.  In any case, lets not continue to let this President divide us.  Remember, "United We Stand, Divided We Fall."  Obama's clearly tuned into the "divided we fall" part of that quote, and he'll do anything to 'nudge' the public into making that happen.

Media and Congress Goes After A+ Better Business Bureau Rated Goldline

ABC airs an investigation on Goldline, an A+ Rated Better Business Bureau company out of California.  Congressmen such as Anthony Weiner (D-NY) are leading a congressional investigation into the company for various reasons.  In my opinion, this is just another left-wing attack on Glenn Beck and the Conservative Media (ex.: Fox News).  Through an interview with George Stephanopoulos of ABC, Scott Carter (Executive Vice President of Goldline) defends his company against a fairly strong left-wing media attack.  Below is the link to the story and the video.  Smells like a smear campaign to me.  INVEST IN GOLD!!!  Also, an amendment was slipped into the health care legislation that would track and tax coin and bullion transactions.

The Overton Window - Mid-Book Review

Hey Common Sensers,

Well after just finishing Glenn Beck's book, Arguing With Idiots, I'm now reading his brand new novel, The Overton Window.  I'm only 110 pages in (it's about 320 pages) but I thought I'd give my opinion on what I think of it so far.  This book is gripping.  Nothing substantial has happened yet but you can feel it building.  I feel as though at any moment this book will just take off and explode.  I find myself reading more and more (and I hate reading, I REALLY hate reading) and wanting to see what happens next.  If you haven't read it or are thinking about reading it, please go get it.  It's well worth the read and if you are someone or know someone who's on the fence and is really close to waking up and realizing what's going on, this is the book you need to read.  It's a fictional thriller, but it conveys so many things that are currently going on.  The Overton Window is what it's called, so from all of us here at Common Sense Talk Radio...go get this book!!!
